What this does

Shortened links (bit.ly, t.co, tinyurl and the like) hide their real destination. This tool follows the redirect chain on our server and shows you every hop and the final URL, so you can see where a link goes before deciding whether to trust it. The request runs server-side and only reads the redirect path — it never executes scripts, downloads files, or loads the page in your browser.

How to judge the result yourself

We deliberately don’t show a green/red “safe” verdict — an honest tool can’t reliably score a site’s safety without dedicated threat-intelligence feeds, and a false “safe” label is worse than none. Instead we give you the facts and flag things worth a closer look. Sensible red flags: the final URL ends in a downloadable file like .exe or .apk; the destination is a bare IP address rather than a real domain; the domain looks like a misspelling of a brand you know; or it matches a known IP-logger service. When in doubt, don’t click.

A note on IP-logger links

Some shortened links (from services like Grabify or iplogger) exist purely to capture the IP address of whoever clicks them. Expanding the link here is safe — our server follows it, not you — and we flag the destination if it matches a known logger. If you were sent a link specifically designed to “see if you click,” checking it here means you find out where it goes without revealing your own IP.
